A blend of simple pleasure and authentic emotion, of planned paths and surprise encounters, of fleeting moments and unforgettable experiences. Exotic and yet reassuring, warm and yet refreshing, it is full of contradiction, yet always sincere… This is the resort of Les Menuires, a safe bet for your mountain holiday. Once you become familiar, you’ll be friends forever.
Openness
Strangely enough, the minute you arrive, you feel in your element. As if you had been expected for some time. Is it because of the architecture that adds spirit to this place in the middle of nature? Or is it the comfortable, sun-flooded apartment with its own private spa? Or the laughter of children who can’t wait to try the activities proposed by the resort? Nobody knows. In fact, nobody really cares. What matters is being here, in Les Menuires, at an elevation of 1,850 metres in the heart of Les 3 Vallées. Ready to enjoy a rare experience and truly live the emotion.
Fun outdoors
The fun starts on the beginners’ slope under the watchful eyes of parents. Then the red and black slopes become accessible, as well as the fun areas which include a snowpark and boardercross park, or the family favourite, Walibi Gliss. Later, in the company of experienced instructors, you can progress to the virgin snow in off-piste heaven. They call it the wintersports passion and it’s happening here at the resort of Les Menuires, in the ski area of Les 3 Vallées.
Warmth indoors
A distinctive feature of Les Menuires mountainside is that, at nightfall, you automatically end up back where you started. This is when winter becomes warmer than ever, for an evening with family or friends at the restaurant or cinema, or simply gathered around a warm fire. It may seem like nothing to write home about, but in 20, 30 or 50 years’ time, you’ll still be talking about it.
