The Giffre Valley offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps. We are only 200 metres away from the gondola lift that connects directly with all of the Grand Massif ski area, offering 265 km of pisted ski slopes. The snow record of the area is one of the most reliable throughout Europe due to the close proximity of Mont Blanc. Skiing is available from mid-December to late April.
Morillon itself is an authentic working savoyard village. It has a varied selection of specalised shops, from sports shops to restaurants and a supermarket. This is only 4 km from Samoens which is a large town and is a historic monument starting from the 12th Century.
